okay... maybe i don't hate humbuckers. i juz found out yesterday that humbuckers and bartolinis are completely different. the pickups on the Cort A5 that the church has are bartolinis. i hated their sound. but yesterday at the thomson plaza yamaha i tried their 5 string RBX bass... which had humbuckers. i was thoroughly impressed by it actually. it gave me really good solid sound with nice clear picking sound. slapping didn't sound all that good, but it was better than the A5. i wouldn't mind buying it if it weren't for its awful shape. i hate that hiker's thumb thingy. go see for urself what i mean. in my opinion, electric guitars should NEVER have horns that curve outwards.
